Christmas shoppers are in for a treat as Fermanagh and Omagh District Council once again hosts its Christmas Craft and Food Fair in Enniskillen on Saturday 3 December from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm, with stalls located in both the historic Town Hall and in the bustling Diamond in the centre of the town.

This popular event which follows hot on the heels of the highly successful Christmas lights switch-on, is always a major attraction and provides the ideal opportunity for shoppers to sample and purchase a range of locally made food delights and handmade crafts, alongside soaking up the festive atmosphere, experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the season and finding those unique gifts for family and friends.

The Christmas Craft and Food Fair is the perfect opportunity to showcase our excellent local produce and there will be a myriad of goods on offer from festive wreaths, candles, decorations to delightful tasty offerings including sweets, jams, chutneys and much more.

In commenting on the upcoming event, the Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Mary Garrity said, “There is no better way to get into the festive spirit, soaking up the atmosphere and browsing stalls of fine foods and unique gifts and it is the perfect opportunity for local artisans to showcase their wonderful wares, as our district has a wealth of talented crafts people offering unique foods and goods.”

On the day, there will also be a raft of family friendly entertainment, including face painters, Christmas characters, music and much more.

On the following two Saturdays, 10 and 17 December, there will also be lively and fun filled entertainment in the Diamond, Enniskillen to help shoppers and visitors alike to get into the festive spirit and enjoy their Christmas shopping spree.
