Published: 16th August 2016

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is illuminating Enniskillen Castle green on Friday 19 August 2016 in recognition of the work of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) locally.

The NSPCC is a registered charity that provides support, help and information to better protect children from abuse. The charity’s Enniskillen branch is lighting Enniskillen Castle on August 19 to help raise awareness of its work in the local community.

The lighting up of Council buildings to mark specific days of significance is one way in which the Council may provide support to a particular charity. Enquiries regarding illuminating Council properties and charity support should be made to Louise McLaughlin, Community Services, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council by telephoning 0300 303 1777 or emailing louise.mclaughlin@fermanaghomagh.com.
