Council to light up Enniskillen Castle and Strule Arts Centre teal to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is showing its support for Alzheimer’s awareness by illuminating Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, teal on Thursday 3 November 2016.

Both venues will be lit up as part of an initiative by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society NI to light up buildings to raise awareness of the condition. Both flagship buildings in the district will join with iconic buildings globally to show their support by lighting up teal.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
