Lighting up Purple for World Pancreatic Cancer Day

Published: 15th November 2016

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council will be marking World Pancreatic Cancer  Day on Thursday 17 November  by illuminating Enniskillen Castle and the Strule Arts Centre, Omagh, purple. Both flagship buildings in the district will join with other iconic buildings across the world to show their support for Pancreatic Cancer awareness by lighting up purple.

The purple light up campaign is organised locally by Action4Noel, a regional fund hosted by the charity, Pancreatic Cancer Action.

This year, the theme of World Pancreatic Cancer Day is “In it together”. For further information on World Pancreatic Cancer Day, including contact details for anyone in need of support visitwww.pancreaticcancer.org.uk  or email action4noel@panact.org.
