Community and Home Safety Event

The Public Services Centre, High Street, Omagh is hosting  a Community and Home Safety event on Wednesday 25th May would like to invite members of the public along between 10.30am and 3.00pm.

Officers from the Western Homes Environmental Assessment Project will be in attendance to provide information about home safety, security, energy effiency, fuel poverty and fear of crime. They will also arrange home assessment visits to households with under-5s or those over 65 and will be able to link residents to a range of services available in their local communities which will improve the health and wellbeing of those who avail of these assessment.

The Policing and Community Safety Partnership will also attend the event with advice on community safety.

In addition there will also be an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft Customer Service Strategy, the Communication Strategy, Community Engagement and Improvement Strategy and Policing and Community Safety issues.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the event.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
