Christmas Food and Craft Fair at Strule

Published: 8th December 2015

Strule Arts Centre gets into the Christmas spirit this week with the Christmas Food and Craft Fair which runs from Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 December.

Over the three days, local craftspeople will display a wide range of handcrafted products, from jewellery and textiles to keepsakes and Christmas decorations, while food producers will have plenty of festive baking, chutneys, preserves and cakes.

The Christmas Food and Craft Fair hours of opening are:

Thursday 10 December:    4pm – 10pm

Friday 11 December:           10am – 9pm

Saturday 12 December:      10am – 5:30pm

The Christmas Food and Craft Fair is the perfect opportunity to pick up unique gifts and delicious festive foods, all locally produced by hand. Not only will shoppers find something different and special, they will also support local artists and small businesses.

The Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Thomas O’Reilly, commented on the Christmas Food and Craft Fair, saying:

“Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is delighted to support local crafts people and food producers by organising the Christmas Food and Craft Fair at Strule Arts Centre.

Local producers have been very keen to take part in this year’s event, so shoppers can expect a Fair with a variety of high quality, unique, handcrafted products. I would encourage people to come along to the Fair, and also to support the local businesses in Omagh by ‘shopping local’ for Christmas this year.”
