Grange Fest – a Celebration of Summer – is set to take place at Grange Park, Omagh on Saturday 24 June 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm.

The free family fun day, organised by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, will include music, arts and crafts, sporting activities and family entertainment – outdoors and under cover – in Grange Park.

Ryan Tracey from Duff Balloons, who recently reached the semi-finals on this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, will also attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for making the most unique balloon models in one minute at the event – a record which he equalled in the semi-finals.

 

Entertainment on the day will include clay crafting and kite making, interactive birds of prey demonstration, biodiversity trail, circus skills, toddler activities with Sure Start, teambuilding and games with 4th Tyrone Scouts and sporting activities for all ages and abilities.

 

‘Chemshir’ of the Bulgarian Association NI will also perform Bulgarian folk dancing while St Eugene’s Brass and Reed Band and Omagh Academy Samba Band will provide musical entertainment throughout the afternoon.

There will also be food stalls, face painting, balloon modelling and information stands.

Admission to Grange Fest and its associated activities is free of charge.  All entertainment and activities will take place within the surroundings of Grange Park with car parking available at Grange Park, Omagh Leisure Complex and other town centre car parks.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
