Ardess Art Society exhibition to open at Higher Bridges Gallery

Ardess Art Society will exhibt at the Higher Bridges Gallery from 12 November to 5 December 2015

An exhibition showcasing the work of members of Ardess Art Society will open at The Higher Bridges Gallery, Enniskillen, on Thursday 12 November 2015.

Ardess Art Society, which was founded in 1986 by local artist, Dorothy Pendry, has more than 20 members who currently hail from Fermanagh, Donegal and Tyrone.

Members meet from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm in Ardess Parish Hall on the first and third Saturday in each month from October to June, to improve their painting by learning from each other and from visiting tutors.

The annual Ardess Art Society members’ exhibition will be officially launched on November 12 at 7.00 pm, by local arts activist and Education Authority arts advisor, Noelle McAlinden.

The exhibition will then continue at The Higher Bridges Gallery until Saturday 5 December 2015. The Higher Bridges Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and Saturday 11.00 am to 3.00 pm. Admission to the gallery is free.

The Higher Bridges Gallery is located within the Clinton Centre on Belmore Street in Enniskillen.

Due to the amber weather warning, all Council offices and facilities are closed for the remainder of today, Monday 16 October 2017. We are currently working on the basis that Council services will resume as normal tomorrow (Tuesday 17 October 2017) however we will be keeping this under review. This position may change depending on weather conditions.
