About the Event

rsz exhibition notes from the boneyard 1

Notes from the Boneyard is a weekly column that appears in the Ulster Herald Newspaper. It is a collaboration which fuses the words of Mark McKowski with the illustrations of Chris Coll. The stories and images stem from a mixture of truths, dreams and lies. These ramblings are now being compiled into a book, NOTES FROM THE BONEYARD, which will be released through Sideshow Hustle Press.

The exhibition will be a visual gallery which celebrates both the artwork of the book and the stories they accompany. The Launch Event is 01/06/17. Notes from The Boneyard, the book and Limited prints will be available throughout the exhibit.

Mark McKowski is one half of Songwriting duo The Lost Brothers. Between touring with The Lost Brothers and running a record shop in Omagh (Boneyard Records), you will find him asleep at the bar.

Chris Coll is an illustrator and animator who goes by the name of Haunted Boy. He spends his nights awake, surrounded by half-finished art pieces, empty beer cans and cigarette butts.

Sideshow Hustle is a creative publisher which uses elements of art and design mixed with visuals and music, under the watchful eye of Conor Moore.
