Sat 25  Minibeast & Moth Hunt    (National Insect Week)

Marble Arch Caves Visitor Centre, 11am and 3 pm

Come along and join staff at the Marble Arch Caves in a hunt for unseen wildlife in the Marble Arch National Nature Reserve. We will hunt in habitats throughout the Nature Reserve, catching and identifying invertebrates as we go! Why not learn a bit more about these mini-beasts fascinating lifestyles and their roles in an ecosystem.  You will also get an opportunity to get up close to some of the moth species found in the woodland, as we discover what is inside our moth trap from the night before!!!

This event is suitable for people of all ages but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring warm waterproof clothing and suitable footwear. Unfortunately, the Nature Reserve is not suitable for pushchairs.  This event is free of charge. Book for one of the hour long slots.
