About the Event
The historic Forthill Park in Enniskillen will play host to an afternoon of free family fun and entertainment from 2.00 – 5.00pm on 28 July 2017.
Now in its sixth year, ‘Hats off to the Forthill’ will have a variety of activities to be enjoyed including music in the bandstand; face painting, balloon modelling and more. There will be a chance to have a go at Tug of War and rope-making; to follow the fairy footsteps and find their little doors. This high profile shared space event aims to ensure that Council owned public spaces feel shared and open to all.
Speaking about the event, the Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Councillor Stephen McCann, said “Hats off to the Forthill is always a popular event and we look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to this summer event. The afternoon is a great way for people to get together and enjoy some family fun and entertainment in the beautiful and historic setting of Forthill Park.”
Admission to the event and its associated activities is free of charge. For further information about the ‘Hats off to the Forthill’ event, please contact Catherine Scott, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Museums Service, on 028 6632 5000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
