“Each a Glimpse and Gone Forever” – Fermanagh’s Railway Story

A photographic exhibition featuring Fermanagh railway scenes captured by John J. Smith. Originally from Eastbourne, John visited Ireland on a number of occasions during the heyday of steam. He portrays the story of Fermanagh’s railways through the camera lens; capturing locomotives, signal boxes and stations!  The exhibition will be complemented by a collection of railway artefacts sourced by Headhunters Railway Museum and will coincide with the 60th anniversary of the closure of rail services in Fermanagh and the Border Counties on the 30th Sept 1957.
