Sat 3 Fermanagh Live Festival presents Bronagh Gallagher and Her Band in  Concert

Bronagh Gallagher will delight The Ardhowen audience with her unique mix of blues-tinged, country swinging, soul songs, each one deeply rooted in her life’s experience and introduced with a personal anecdote. Star of stage and screen, singer, songwriter, occasional drummer, the versatile Ms Gallagher made her acting debut in Alan Parker’s film, ‘The Commitments’. She subsequently appeared in films such as Tarantino’s ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘Star Wars’ Episode 1, and ‘You, Me and Marley’. In London she appeared as Rose Narracott in the National Theatre’s production of ‘War Horse’ while her TV successes include ‘Holy Cross’, a fictional drama set around real events in Northern Ireland. The Derry born artist’s first solo album, ‘Precious Soul’, was produced by Brian Eno in 2005 and following the release of her highly acclaimed eponymous album, Bronagh and the band enjoyed a two and a half year tour of Ireland, Britain and the USA before recording their third CD in Dublin.bronagh gallagherhttp://www.ardhowentheatre.com
