When Darren Nugent was a young boy he was told a legend about an old tree near his home in the village of Carrickmore, Co Tryone. The story goes that, on certain nights, when the air as very still and the moon was bright, the devil could be found sitting under the tree’s creaking branches playing cards. He name his Brewery after the Pokertree but when you try his range of handcrafted Irish Ales you won’t be gambling with quality. Alongside this will be a 50s and 60s afternoon. Castle Archdale is 50 this year and Tayto Crisps will be 60 so they’re meeting up to offer the finest products from Tayto Castle to snack on. Mr Tayto and the team will be there to advise on choices!
