About the Event
Come along to the Lakeland Forum on Friday 2 October at 6:30 pm when we will dispel a couple of the most common myths about bats. Did you know they aren’t blind and they will not drink your blood! At least the ones we get in Northern Ireland don’t!
After a fun talk inside, we will travel across town to Forthill Park to seek out bat activity with our bat detectors, which convert the high pitched calls of the bats used for echo location, to a lower frequency audible to humans.
Places are limited and on a first come first served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult and please bring a torch. To book your place, please contact Julie Corry, Fermanagh and Omagh Biodiversity Officer on 0300 303 1777 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
