About the Event
Belvoir Players have been producing first class theatre for nearly 50 years and annually tour the province with entertaining comedies. The Belvoir Players latest play, Allo Allo, brings to the stage the life of Rene Artois and his life within his small cafe in France during World War II. Rene always seems to have his hands full: He’s having affairs with most of his waitresses, he’s keeping his wife happy, he’s trying to please the German soldiers who frequent his cafe, and he’s running a major underground operation of Resistance.
With the locals looking to get rid of the Germans, the soldiers frequenting his cafe and his mistresses and wife needing attention, Rene must solve his problems quickly.
